Via my email, via my facebook, via a write-invite on fb, via a short story competiton listed there, via the result page of the short story competition, I found Lies, Ink ... and Dan Purdue. Take a look at his blog, its quick, interesting and he has kindly posted a chronological list of story competitions.

Hi Jill, thanks for the mention. I'm glad the list is helpful (although it's a bit out of date at the moment; I hope to get it sorted in the next few days).
ReplyDeleteDuotrope is a great website; it's easy to use and caters for every market I can think of. The hard part is choosing which one to submit your work to!
